VOID SPHERE (2022)

Project Descirption

VOID SPHERE is an interactive XR project that places the players in an old retro-inspired virtual space. Equipped with MOTION CONTROLLERS and a VR HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY,  on stage players will be able to see the Enemy Robots in real time and interact with the foreground elements, like pillars, debris, the computer consoles, and other objects.

XR Application

The XR stage would act as a simulation of a free-roam VR gaming session with the added advantage of the XR stage’s ability to track the VR player and place AR elements. Animated elements will mostly consist of enemies and object collisions. The VR lens will serve as both a prop for the camera to track player movement and a gateway to the complete virtual environment. Additionally,  by combining technology from advanced depth sensing cameras like the ZED 2i, body tracking can also be applied to the VR player.
